First, the essentials at a glance

🎪 What kind of festival is it?

The festival tells the story of Jopo Naru (조포나루),
one of the four great ferry landings of the Joseon era,
where Yeoju’s farm produce
was sent as tribute to the king.

The grounds are split into three areas:
Naru Madang (ferry yard), Ogok Madang (five-grain yard)
and Janchi Madang (feast yard).

This year, two night programs —
‘Naru Nanjang’ (a ferry-side night party)
and ‘Yeogang Goedam’ (Yeogang River ghost stories) —
are making their debut.
