Hangang Festival – Autumn 2026

runs October 17 (Sat) – 25 (Sun)
on the Han River itself
and in seven Hangang parks.

Jamwon, Gangseo and Ttukseom
are the main venues, and
each park has its own dates and programs.

It’s the autumn edition
of the Hangang Festival,
Seoul’s festival for all four seasons.

This year’s theme is
’Hup-two, hup-two Hangang —
taking care of body and mind.’

Eleven programs run
in three strands —
challenge, culture and rest —
and times and fees vary by program.

October 17 (Sat) – 18 (Sun),
at the multipurpose sports field
in Jamwon Hangang Park
(잠원한강공원).

O.Un.Han stands for
’Today’s workout, done at the Hangang’.
Here’s everything in time order.

The ON Stage opens with the children’s musical team
’Iruda Dream’ (이루다 드림).
After a team of Dankook University musical theatre students
comes the musical-star gala.

A few things also run elsewhere
the same weekend.

🍜 Second weekend: Ttukseom and Gangseo

Here’s the second weekend,
plus what runs all festival long,
by date and time.

The Road Chef is a contest where 20 teams of young chefs
compete by selling their food.
Entry is free; you pay for the food.

Forest Adventure is a forest playground for children,
with monkey climbing, a zipline,
rope play
and even tree climbing.

Just turn up — only the activity zone
’Autumn Forest Workshop’ (가을 숲 공작소)
needs booking ahead
(400 people a day, until 17:00 on the 21st).

On the water (paid):
yachts, kayaks and Tubesters
at Sebitseom (세빛섬), Banpo,
and the Hi Seoul Cruise at Yeouido.

The festival offers no parking support.

Check the age rules first.

At Jamwon, Hangang Hankki (16:00)
flows straight into ON Stage (17:30)
on the same field.

Forest Adventure has no changing rooms
and only 20 hammocks and mats,
so the organizers ask you
to bring your own mat or tent.

☔ What if it rains?

ON Stage is cancelled
if rain is forecast
12 hours before it starts.

Silent yoga and the Sagak Sagak Art Festival
are also cancelled in the rain,
and Forest Adventure
may be postponed or cancelled.

The Road Chef goes ahead in the rain
and is only cancelled
for heavy rain or a typhoon.

O.Un.Han and Hangang Hankki
may also be postponed or cancelled,
with a full refund if cancelled.
