2026 Car-Free Jamsugyo Foot Festival Schedule & Parking, Remaining Sunday Programs Guide
⚠️ The October 18 (Sun) session has been canceled
In a notice on October 14,
the organizers announced that the 7th week (18th)
of the second half is canceled because of the rain forecast.
The special program Moonlight Jamsugyo is canceled too.
The only day left is the final session on October 25 (Sun).
On autumn Sundays,
why not walk across a bridge without cars? 🚶
The 2026 Car-Free Jamsugyo Foot Festival
is being held from September 6 to October 25
every Sunday from 14:00 to 22:00
at Jamsugyo and Banpo Hangang Park.
This is said to be the final season
of ‘Car-Free Jamsugyo’
before the bridge becomes fully pedestrianized
in the second half of 2027.
I’ve organized the official event information
and the festival website announcement (through the October 14 notice).

🎉 Happening Now
Six Sundays have passed since September 6,
and the 18th is canceled because of the rain forecast.
So the only Sunday left is the 25th, just one.
| October Sundays | Special Program |
|---|---|
| 10/11 (past session) | Jamsugyo Refresh Day · 3 types of yoga · Advance reservation |
| 10/18 Canceled | Event canceled due to rain forecast · Moonlight Jamsugyo canceled too |
| 10/25 | Final session · Special program not yet announced |
🎪 What Kind of Event Is This?
This is a walking festival on Jamsugyo
with the theme ‘Walking the Han River Together, Together as One.‘
It started in the second half of 2022 and is now in its fifth year,
with a total of about 6.47 million visitors.
Every Sunday, about 1.1km
of Jamsugyo from the north end
to the south end Moonlight Square
becomes a car-free road.
This fall, to boost the nighttime economy,
the hours have been extended to 22:00,
and the October theme is
’Taste, Shine, and Relax on an Autumn Night.’
🎈 What Can You Do on Sundays?
Even without special programs,
these regular programs run every Sunday.
| Regular Program | Details |
|---|---|
| Moonlight Playground & Canvas | 5.2m Dduddu Bounce · Giant claw game Flying Catcher (advance reservation) · Naktabong Bowling · Giant canvas on the road |

or if wind speed exceeds 7m/s.
✨ What About Moonlight Jamsugyo?
Moonlight Jamsugyo is a media art gallery
that lights up the ceiling of Jamsugyo
and Banpo Bridge structures
with starlight and music,
and it was scheduled for the 18th (Sun) 19:00~22:00.
When the organizers canceled the 18th session,
Moonlight Jamsugyo was canceled along with it.
There’s no notice yet
about moving it to another day.
🚇 Getting There & Parking

On Sundays from 12:00 to 24:00,
the entire Jamsugyo section is closed to vehicles.
The south end roundabout operates as usual,
and buses are temporarily rerouted to nearby roads.
The organizers strongly recommend public transport
because Hangang Park parking is very crowded.
| Subway/Bus | Where to Get Off & Walk |
|---|---|
| Express Bus Terminal Station (Lines 3, 7, 9) | Exits 8-1 or 8-2 → Walk toward Banpo Bridge, about 15 minutes |
| Express Bus Terminal Station | Exits 6 or 8-1 → Jamsugyo stairs/ramp |
| Sinbanpo Station (Line 9) | Exit 1 → Walk to Banpo Underpass, about 15 minutes |
| Dongjak Station (Lines 4, 9) | Exits 1 or 2 → Walk along the Han River |
| Bus 740, 405 | Banpo Hangang Park · Sebitseom stop |
Even when Jamsugyo is closed,
you can still enter Banpo Hangang Park parking lot
via the roundabout, according to the FAQ.
| Banpo Hangang Park Parking | Spaces & Fees |
|---|---|
| 3 lots (Banpo 1, 2, 3) | 669 spaces · 06:00~24:00 |
| First 30 minutes | 1,000 won |
| After that, every 10 minutes | 200 won |
| Daily maximum | 10,000 won |
| Multi-child Happy Card | 50% discount |
👨👩👧 If You’re Bringing Kids
The 5.2m Dduddu Bounce, Naktabong Bowling,
and the road canvas for drawing
are all fun for kids.
Only the Flying Catcher requires advance reservation.
If you stay until evening,
you can see the Moonlight Rainbow Fountain
which runs every 30 minutes from 19:30.
Food trucks use only reusable containers,
so there are no disposables.

The only day left is the 25th (Sun)
Just one final session
⏳ Not Yet Announced

□ Special program for the final session on the 25th
□ Whether Moonlight Jamsugyo will be held on another day
□ How to reserve Flying Catcher
□ Silent DJ Party fees
As with the 18th, when rain is forecast,
a whole session can be canceled.
The organizers say they’ll post updates
on Instagram (@ddooddoo_festa) and the website.
