The Chrysanthemum Festival activities
include a mini train
and potting a plant,
and the Yulmu Festival has
yulmu face painting.

The Jeongok-ri site is where
Paleolithic people lived
about 300,000 years ago.
The first hand axe in East Asia
was found here,
and along a walking trail of about 2 km
there are exhibition halls and sculptures.

The county’s tourist site info
marks a nursing room,
restrooms and accessible restrooms.

The festival description lists
a ‘dog playground’,
but the site’s regular info says
dogs are ‘not allowed’.
If you plan to bring yours, ask first.

Translated from our Korean post with AI assistance. Dates, times, prices, phone numbers and other numbers were checked against the Korean original on October 7, 2026. The festival theme, program, garden and gift-certificate names are our own translations of the Korean, not official English names; yulmu (율무) is Job's tears (adlay), a grain. We did not check whether the festivals offer guidance in English. Original post (Korean)
